Jim played in three Super Bowls for the Miami Dolphins Super Bowls VI, VII, & VIII winning the latter of the two. He was part of the Dolphins 17-0 undefeated season in 1972 where Jim and Larry Csonka where the 2 main Running backs and went by the Nicknames Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid. Jim Passed away in June of 2020 at the age of 73 of what was later found out to be (CTE), which is caused by repeated hits to the head
