George Thomas Seaver, nicknamed "Tom Terrific" and "the Franchise", was a pitcher who played 20 seasons in the Major Leagues for the New York Mets, Cincinnati Reds, Chicago White Sox, & Boston Red Sox. He was the most iconic player in Mets history and played a significant role in their victory in the 1969 World Series victory over the Baltimore Orioles.

 Tom Passed away in his sleep from complications of dementia and the virus on August 31, 2020, at the age of 75.
